Senior Software Engineer Review

DevelopmentFull-timeHybrid
Jul 14, 2025

What I liked

Supportive engineering leads, strong focus on technical quality, lots of opportunities to work on infrastructure-scale problems. Good balance of remote and office days and the mentorship programs are real — I’ve grown my skills quickly.

Areas for improvement

Occasional long sprint weeks around major releases and some product decisions can be slow because of cross-team coordination.

What I liked

Plenty of interesting infrastructure projects and a remote-first culture that worked well for me. Cross-functional teams and product thinking are encouraged, and the company invests in training.

Areas for improvement

Decision cycles can be bureaucratic at times and compensation isn't always top of market in my region. Could improve speed of internal communication.

Implementation Engineer Review

Client ServicesFull-timeOn-site

What I liked

Great teammates and direct client exposure. I learned a lot about Bentley Systems' products and technical troubleshooting — good on-the-job training and challenging scenarios.

Areas for improvement

Frequent late hours during rollouts, limited salary growth, and promotions felt slow. On-site requirement made work-life balance tough during busy periods.
