Senior Software Engineer Review

EngineeringFull-timeHybrid
Aug 20, 2025

What I liked

Supportive engineering manager, flexible hours, modern tech stack and clear focus on procurement SaaS. Good benefits and opportunity to work across modules at Jaggaer.

Areas for improvement

Occasional long release sprints and some internal processes feel bureaucratic. Compensation could be more competitive for the Raleigh market.

Product Manager Review

What I liked

Hands-on product work, exposure to enterprise procurement customers and a team of knowledgeable colleagues. Jaggaer gave me great domain experience that I can take forward.

Areas for improvement

Frequent reorganisations and unclear long-term career path for PMs in the local office. Commute was tough with mandatory on-site days.

Implementation Consultant Review

What I liked

Lots of client variety and on-the-job learning with Jaggaer implementations. The work is technically challenging and helped me build strong consulting skills.

Areas for improvement

Heavy travel at times, inconsistent processes between regions, and limited local leadership support. Career progression is slower than expected.
