Consultant, Strategy Review

Strategy & OperationsFull-timeHybrid
Aug 20, 2025

What I liked

Strong training program, very steep learning curve and great exposure to senior clients. Teams are supportive and mentoring is real — Oliver Wyman opened a lot of doors for my growth.

Areas for improvement

Long hours around project deadlines and frequent travel when client-facing. Work-life balance can be hit or miss depending on the project.

HR Associate Review

People & CultureFull-timeFlexible
Jul 30, 2025

What I liked

Friendly colleagues, solid benefits and the brand gives access to interesting internal initiatives. Some learning opportunities for HR processes and systems.

Areas for improvement

Career path is unclear for mid-junior HR roles, salary growth felt slow, and the organization can be bureaucratic. Workloads often spike with little notice.

Senior Data Scientist Review

Data & AnalyticsFull-timeRemote
May 10, 2025

What I liked

Interesting, high-impact projects and a lot of autonomy on technical choices. Compensation is competitive and remote flexibility is generous at Oliver Wyman.

Areas for improvement

Promotion timeline and evaluation criteria could be more transparent. Expectations are high which is good, but sometimes causes burnout.

Senior Manager - Risk & Resilience Review

RiskFull-timeOn-site
Feb 14, 2025

What I liked

Clear meritocracy, excellent pay and benefits, and leadership invests in career development. Oliver Wyman rewards strong performers and I learned a lot from client work and internal mentorship.

Areas for improvement

Workload can spike and there is occasional pressure for travel. Not much else — overall a great place if you want to build consulting skills quickly.
