Employee Testimonials

Employees describe working at Schbang as lively and fast-paced. You will hear stories of creative teams who rally around client deadlines and enjoy small wins together. Many say they grew quickly because projects move fast and responsibilities come early. A few mention moments of long hours during campaign launches, but they also highlight supportive teammates who step in when it counts. If you are looking for hands-on experience and quick learning, working at Schbang often delivers that.

Company Culture

The company culture at Schbang is creative, collaborative, and slightly scrappy. People tend to be hands-on and project-focused, with open communication across teams. There is an emphasis on creativity and client satisfaction, and you will notice informal interactions—think idea huddles, Slack banter, and cross-functional brainstorming sessions. Diversity of skills is valued, and there is room for experimentation. Overall, the company culture at Schbang is energizing for people who like variety and a start-up pace within an agency setting.

Work-Life Balance

Work-life balance at Schbang varies by team and project load. On average, teams aim for flexibility, and you will find people taking time off when needed. During big launches or high-priority campaigns, you will likely put in late evenings or weekend check-ins. Many employees say managers try to be reasonable about deadlines and will redistribute work where possible. If predictable hours are a priority, be prepared to ask about team norms during interviews—expect rhythm changes based on client needs and campaign cycles.

Job Security

Job security is generally stable for those who deliver consistent performance and adapt to changing client demands. The agency model means that project wins and client retention influence staffing needs, so roles tied to specialized projects may be more variable. There is routine hiring and occasional restructuring aligned with strategic pivots. Overall, employees who demonstrate versatility and client-focused delivery will find stronger job security.

Leadership and Management

Leadership tends to be accessible and marketing-savvy, with a focus on growth and client outcomes. Senior leaders often participate in client pitches and creative reviews, which keeps them closely connected to day-to-day work. Management communicates business priorities reasonably well, though some employees wish for clearer long-term roadmaps. There is a practical, outcome-oriented approach from the top, and leaders generally encourage initiative and ownership.

Manager Reviews

Managers are described as energetic and supportive, especially when it comes to career exposure and client-facing opportunities. Many managers act as mentors, offering feedback and chances to lead smaller projects. At the same time, managerial styles vary—some are more hands-off, which suits self-starters, while others provide closer guidance. If you prefer structured check-ins and defined KPIs, clarify expectations early on with your manager.

Learning & Development

Learning and development are encouraged, with on-the-job training being the primary method. You will gain skills quickly through client work, shadowing, and internal knowledge sharing. There are occasional formal workshops, masterclasses, and access to online courses depending on role and budget. The company supports growth but expects employees to take initiative in shaping their own learning paths.

Opportunities for Promotions

Promotion opportunities exist and can be relatively fast for high performers. Advancement is typically merit-based and aligned with demonstrated client impact and leadership within projects. Timelines vary by function; creative and accounts teams sometimes see quicker moves due to visible contributions, while support functions may have longer cycles. Clear career conversations with managers help accelerate progression.

Salary Ranges

Salaries at the company follow industry standards with variation by role, experience, and location. Entry-level positions typically range from INR 3.5–6 LPA, mid-level roles from INR 7–15 LPA, and senior or specialized positions from INR 16 LPA and above. These figures are approximate and depend on negotiation, role criticality, and market conditions. Compensation packages often include variable components tied to performance.

Bonuses & Incentives

Bonuses and incentives are performance-linked and may include annual bonuses, spot awards, or client-win incentives. The structure is not always uniform across teams; sales and client-facing roles may receive higher variable pay tied to targets. Employees report occasional recognition through awards, team outings, and small monetary bonuses for exemplary work.

Health and Insurance Benefits

Health coverage is provided, typically including a standard group medical insurance plan for employees and dependents. Additional benefits may include wellness initiatives, mental health resources, and employee assistance programs depending on tenure and level. The specifics of coverage and limits should be confirmed at offer stage, as senior roles may have enhanced benefits.

Employee Engagement and Events

There is a steady flow of employee engagement activities—team lunches, creative jams, monthly townhalls, and occasional offsites. Events are designed to build camaraderie and celebrate wins. Creative showcases, knowledge-sharing sessions, and cultural celebrations are common. These activities help teams bond and provide lighter moments during intense project phases.

Remote Work Support

Remote work support is available, with hybrid models common across teams. Employees are typically equipped with necessary tools, collaboration platforms, and occasional stipends for work-from-home essentials. Some roles require office presence for client meetings or studio work, so flexibility depends on function. Overall, remote work support is practical and aimed at keeping teams productive.

Average Working Hours

Average working hours are roughly 8–10 hours a day, with spikes during campaign rollouts. Typical weekdays follow office hours, while high-priority deadlines may extend the day. Flexible start and end times are often allowed, but core overlap hours for collaboration are expected.

Attrition Rate & Layoff History

Attrition tends to be moderate, reflecting the fast-moving agency environment where people pursue varied opportunities. The company has undergone periodic restructuring or role realignments in response to client shifts, but there is not a pattern of frequent mass layoffs. Prospective employees should evaluate role stability by discussing pipeline and client retention during interviews.

Overall Company Rating

Overall, this is a dynamic place for people who enjoy creative work, rapid learning, and client-facing challenges. The professional environment rewards initiative, adaptability, and teamwork. While work-life balance can fluctuate with client demand, the culture, leadership accessibility, and growth opportunities make it a solid choice for those seeking hands-on marketing and creative experience. If you value fast growth and meaningful project exposure, this company will likely be a good fit.

Senior Content Strategist Review

August 12, 2025

What I liked

At Schbang you get to work on diverse digital campaigns and there's a real emphasis on creative storytelling. Managers are generally supportive, lots of cross-functional collaboration, and the hybrid policy helps with work-life balance. Great place to build content and strategy skills.

Areas for improvement

Promotion criteria are vague and salary bumps are conservative compared to other digital agencies. During big launches we do pull long hours, and processes can feel informal which sometimes leads to last-minute scope changes.

What I liked

Fast-paced digital agency environment at Schbang with lots of learning for juniors. The team is creative and open to new ideas, and onboarding/training was solid. Good exposure to client handling and campaign execution.

Areas for improvement

Targets can be aggressive and there are frequent last-minute client requests which impact personal time. Compensation structure felt inconsistent and promotions were slow. Sometimes there isn't enough process documentation.
